Earn BetterPoints whilst you discover the green spaces of Hounslow
Hounslow Greentalk is a resident platform providing an opportunity to discover tree lined walks and find information about the varieties of trees across the borough.
Over 120,000 trees are mapped on an interactive map where residents can choose their start and end points to generate a ‘green walk’ or get a circular route around any address in Hounslow – this could be your home, school, your local park or even a bus stop. So take a stroll with your phone and collect BetterPoints whilst you discover the tree lined walks.
Hounslow Greentalk also provides residents with an understanding of the council’s response to the climate emergency and the council’s efforts to tackle climate change.
It also provides a unique opportunity for residents to adopt and care for newly planted trees in their local area. Users simply need to create an account, and select a tree to adopt and care for, they will receive watering reminders when the weather is hot or dry and can report any issues relating to the trees directly to the tree managers.
